Wetion is a fiction-based-on-fact tale from the mind’s eye and summarizes one family’s story from the time of the hypothetical characters of “Adam and Eve” onward.
 
Why Wetion, book, standalone play with original music all in one? It was the most challenging project I could think of!
 
Wetion is well-researched! In fact, some of the books used to gain a sense of past history were several thousand years old –thanks to the internet growing digital collection.
 
Wetion and destiny. While studying history in France I was given a recently published family book. This triggered an Epiphany – I was living and studying in lands ancestors inhabited 1,500 years before. So many other strange discoveries occurred then, it raised the hair on my back.
 
Wetion is the continuing story of Adam and Eve…and their descendants. The challenge was to find names that reflected the characters throughout the ages…Aaaah, Eeeee, Atum, Ava, Ada-ma, Avah, Adamos, Ava, Adam, Heva, Addy, and Evelyn….
 
Wetion tells of how the codes and laws influenced the life of the characters. Ponder the rights of women in the time of Egypt, those of the slaves in Persian the knights during the crusades. 
 
Oh, how obsessed we are with the signs. Wetion captures our fascination with the meaning of dreams, signs and the extra senses. Are they gifts or are some of us simply sensitive to these things? You be the judge.
 
Do you recall the controversy surrounding The Prince Charles’ note about people trying to rise above their stations? Many are obviously sensitive to this. The fortunes of Wetion characters rise and fall repeatedly and dramatically over the ages and story.
