Science fiction, it is set in the distant future. Humans have had to vacate a dying earth and have gone to inhabit both Mars and Venus. On Venus they live in bubbles in the atmosphere. On Mars, below the surface. 
 
Both are competitive worlds. The two main families are known as the Blue Domis and Red Walds. And there are two classes of beings, hermaphrodites and genderones. Allegiances are made and lost as the tribes try to avoid repeating past mistakes.
 
This story deals with the lessons learned, and those on the horizon. Venus has a tale to tell and Mars will be listening..
